Born in Lisbon, raised between Amsterdam and Montreal, David grew up in a multicultural family of creatives and technophiles. His mother was a designer, his father a systems engineer — which explains his rare ability to merge storytelling and structure, emotions and numbers. While still in high school, he built a blog about streetwear culture that reached 100k visitors/month.

David studied behavioral psychology and digital marketing at McGill University, followed by a Master’s in Growth Strategy at ESCP Europe. After graduation, he launched his first startup — a DTC skincare brand — and scaled it using email automation, micro-influencer campaigns, and aggressive A/B testing before exiting 2 years later.
Experience
He went on to lead performance marketing at two scale-ups in Berlin and Stockholm, then joined a global agency network where he designed omnichannel strategies for clients like L’Oréal, IKEA, and Spotify.
